Ok, so it's not our normal type of racing ... It's
always been oval, not road course. But, what the heck, time to try
something new, right?
We're not sure if
this project will see production. There are
some changes planned, like cell orientation and
location. This is an early version of the asphalt chassis. There's
also a carpet chassis drawn up, which will be tested this winter.
The rear suspension can either be setup using the triple shock
(as pictured) or be run with dampener tubes. So far, with the initial
testing, the triple shock has taken some work to figure out, but it's proven to
be competitive. More testing on the carpet will let us know if we're on
the right track here, but so far it's a cool little 1/12 scale car.
